The Global Management Trainee Programme is a two-year accelerated development programme that is the start of a rewarding career path at BAT. As a Management Trainee (MT) you will be given the opportunity to work on real tasks from the outset, directly contributing to the business and taking on increased levels of responsibility as you progress. The MT Programme will provide you with a solid foundation in marketing and will enhance your leadership and business competency development.

Are you looking for a challenge in Marketing?
As a Marketing Management Trainee, you will be able to broaden your understanding of the Marketing spectrum through rotations in our Field Force, Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Strategic Planning & Insights Teams. It's not unusual for our Marketing MTs to do a rotation in Trade Marketing working as a sales representative to understand how decisions in the main office are translated into every-day activities of sales representatives and our company’s performance across all distribution channels. The final part of your MT programme involves an international assignment so that you can continue to develop your Marketing skills in another market with different challenges and to build your network within BAT.
